And to continue this hot chat about importation x exportation, who could explain to a foreign investor that has never eaten salgados (salties) what the coxinhas (fried salties made with dough and stuffed very slim shredded chicken with small pieces of onions and parsley), risolis (fried dough stuffed with mozzarella cheese or cheese and ham), empadas (baked pastry stuffed with chicken or heart of palm), pães de queijo (delicious and soft cheese bread), sausage rolls (fried), meat roll (fried roll stuffed with ground meat, kibe (fried meat loaf). These small salties are sold for 2 dollars in brazilian express on the subway and bus stations of SP, as well as in some bar and restaurants. They also sell water and boiling water (Puraqua, Crystal, Lyndoia, Schincariol and others) as well as soft drinks. Ok, then, I managed to explain what we like to eat when we are walking with no destination around the street. If you are an investor, why don't you come to Sao Paolo Santana subway station to taste the salties (salgados) THESE ARE ALL SO DELICIOUS! Or pay a visit to a Habbib's or Ragazzo restaurant....
And about the salties....in Brazil we also have pastel which is a type of indian samosa or argentinian empanada, but bigger and fried with more than 40 types of stuffing to choose from! If you come to Sao Paolo you can eat one at the open market that hapens on Tuesdays near the school I teach!
Luv ya kids! TH@I
