NATO breaks or fix

An extract from The Times: 'As Lord Ismay, NATO’s first secretary general, somewhat cheekily observed, the trans-Atlantic alliance was created to “keep the Soviet Union out, the Americans in and the Germans
down.”

Accordingly, the opposite is happening. It figures that upon the occurance of the Brexit, the Euro which is accepted as well in England will no longer. And Germany will turn into the strongest economical potence again. Russia, strategical view to support Syria's affirmation over the conflict in the Middle East gets a leap in the European political scene.

Overall, Germany has wit to serve as the strongest economical potence of Europe, but the interference of Russia in the political outcome might be disturbing, considering how they stand and the decisions they support. After all, according to The Times "American military protection gave the allies space to develop their economies and pluralistic societies." and "The alliance was the core of an American-led liberal world order that extended to Asia and relied on a web of international institutions, including the United Nations and the World Bank."

The implication of the support of the American Army in the alliance is a guarantee of economical wealth and considering that Russia has been supportive of America's enemies in the Middle East conflict, I can see how it is a matter of time until the USA decides to put an end to this alliance, as the article in the New York Times suggests https://www.nytimes.com/2018/07/08/opinion/editorials/why-nato-matters.html?action=click&pgtype=Homepage&clickSource=story-heading&module=opinion-c-col-left-region&region=opinion-c-col-left-region&WT.nav=opinion-c-col-left-region.

To save NATO, considering the importance of the contribution of the American army, that goes both ways along with the World economic interests, a treatise would need to be signed between Russia and USA so to limit the amount of weapons sold to and organize the means of distribution of such in the Middle East, which is now controlled by Russia.

But this is a chimera. What would you say>>>The Times continues: "Yet NATO is being weakened from within — by members’ failure to spend enough on defense; by the rise of nationalism and authoritarianism, especially in Turkey, Hungary and Poland; and perhaps most of all, by President Trump, who seems to prefer President Vladimir Putin of Russia to America’s European allies." It seems so it is interesting for the President Vladimir Putin to dismiss the hypocrisy of 'we don't deal no guns' and officially take over the interest upon the weapon deal in the Middle East. However, as I see it is necessary a 51% of allies to sign this treatise, and accept each one its own participation upon their part of the deal, be it as it is. However, Europe is often so comfortable in their own problems that they hardly ever want to get involved and prefer to take part at the oddest of the evens.

The Times: (President Donald Trump) "At a rally in Montana last week, he complained that while the United States is protecting Europe, “they kill us on trade.” and “We’re the schmucks that are paying for the whole thing,” the president said. “I’ll see NATO and I’ll tell NATO, ‘You’ve got to start paying your bills.’” This man is showing us how the world turns. He is taking the hate of the whole world because he knows the game, and that because we believe in propaganda. The same propaganda that says that Brazil's former president Dilma Rousseff was impeached because of a political coup and that the former president Lula is innocent (I write from Brazil and shouldn't actually mention Brazilian politics in this article because - now you see the irony - it is election year and we are not supposed to speak of politics in year of election. Nevertheless, they have been both punished and time will tell how justice made its part, in case that one day one of them runs for a public office).

Politics is a matter of rain. Wherever you have a crop it is due to a healthy soil. If the soil insists to bear bad fruit, it is sometimes a matter of using the correct seeds. But if the soil produces nothing worth and the sower still wants to be retributed, they might as well sell the tools and pray for rain at the buyer's field (e.g.: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pre-salt_layer PRÉ-SALT LAYER)

Reagards,

Tatao
